Like everything St John's is run by committees.  Here you can find some information about the Comittee Structure of St John The Evangelist Church.  Each comittee is an expression of individual members evangelical and ministry callings by volunteering thier time and talent to the word of fhe church.

Buildings Peter Fowler
Brian Wood
The Buildings Committee headed up by Rev Canon Brian Wood is responsible for the maintenance and planning of upgrades and enchancements of the structures and physical plant of the Chruch.
Grounds Gene Cardin

This committee is responsible for the maintenance and overall tending of the church grounds including lawns, gardens, pathways, irrigation (a fancy way of saying watering and drainage of the grounds.
Healing Prayer Yasmin Freeman

The Healing Prayer group offers the healing prayer service in the "cold" room off the sanctuary during the 10am Eucharist on Sundays. This is for prayers and not councilling.
Outreach Elizabeth Murphy This committee does the planning and follow through on outreach initiatives locally, provincally, nationally and internationally.
Social Committee Ann Treacy

Louise Crossely
This group oversees and co-ordinates parish social events and kitchen and hall useage.  It also books the hall and kitchen for all who wish or need to use it.
Community Kitchen Louise Baines A group of mostly seniors, though open to all ages, who try thier hands at cooking new and different sorts of dishes and foods.
Choir Connie Wood Anyone can sing!  Anyone at all!  Come join our choir!
